ISDIKS 2007 is a new symposium that provides a forum for researchers in academia, government, and industry to present state-of-the-art research and explore future directions in the data, information, and knowledge spectrum. A stimulating symposium is being planned featuring contributed papers, invited talks and tutorials from experts from the U.S. and India, panel discussion, and cultural programs.

The symposium is being held on the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (Kochi Campus of Amrita University), Amrita Lane, Edapally, Cochin, Kerala. Inspired by Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, one of the foremost humanitarian leaders today, AMRITA Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a multi-campus university with schools of engineering, medicine, business, journalism, arts and sciences spread across Amritapuri, Bangalore, Coimbatore, and Kochi.
